Thermitight FAQs

What is Thermitight?

Thermitight is an innovative skin restoration and tightening treatment that is minimally invasive and gives dramatic results that last for years!

Who can benefit from Thermitight?

Thermitight is a great option for most healthy people aged 18 and older. Thermitight might be the solution for you if you are unhappy with fat, saggy, aged skin on the face, neck, arms, thighs, abdomen, knees, or back; are in generally good health, and want to avoid surgery.

However, if you have a heart or lung condition, have a pacemaker, have a defibrillator, are pregnant, are breastfeeding, are using a medication or supplement that causes skin dryness or sensitivity, have a metal implant near the treatment site or have any type of mental health issue concerning body image, consult with your doctor before receiving Thermitight treatment.

How can I prepare for Thermitight?

For at least 10 days prior to your Thermitight session, do not put tanning lotions on the area to be treated and wear sunscreen at all times. During the 72 hours before treatment, be extra diligent about avoiding the sun.

On the day of treatment, avoid eating any carb-heavy meals and drink plenty of water. Remove all makeup, lotions, and jewelry before the procedure.

How many Thermitight sessions will I need?

Most patients only need one Thermitight session to enjoy years of results. For skin that is exceptionally saggy, thin, or aged, two treatments may be needed.

What can I expect during a Thermitight session?

During a Thermitight session, a very thin probe is inserted under the skin at the treatment area. Radiofrequency energy is delivered to heat up the skin to a safe temperature, causing shrinkage and contraction. Over time, collagen is rebuilt in the area, providing dramatic results that you won’t believe didn’t require surgery.

Does Thermitight hurt?

We use a combination of pain relief medications, sedatives, or even anesthesia to make the Thermitight procedure as comfortable as possible. Most patients report no or minimal pain during the procedure.

Are there any side effects from Thermitight?

Side effects with Thermitight are minimal. After the procedure, patients report redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness that fades away within a few days to a few weeks.

Is there any recovery downtime after a Thermitight session?

Most patients return to their normal activities immediately, but some may require up to 10 days to get back to normal.

When will I start seeing results from Thermitight?

Most patients start seeing results in just a few short weeks, with final results visible in about three months.

How long will my Thermitight results last?

Thermitight results last 2-5 years on average, depending on several factors such as lifestyle, degree of initial laxity, sun exposure, and more.
