How Microdermabrasion Works
A handpiece with an abrasive tip is passed across the skin while gentle suction lifts away the loosened surface cells. The treatment is mechanical rather than chemical, so the depth is controlled by the operator rather than by a solution reacting with your skin.
Removing that layer improves how light reflects off the skin and allows serums and moisturizers to reach further.
