How Brow Waxing and Tinting Works
Waxing removes hair from the root along a shape mapped to your features, which gives a cleaner line than tweezing and lasts longer than threading for most patients.
Tinting applies a semi-permanent dye to the brow hairs. Its real effect is on the fine, pale hairs at the edges of the brow that are invisible untinted. Darkening those creates the impression of a fuller, denser brow without anything being added.

What to Expect
Your provider maps the shape to your brow bone and features before waxing. Tint is then applied, left to develop and removed. The full appointment takes about 30 minutes.
Waxing is briefly uncomfortable. Tinting is not felt at all.
Aftercare
Mild redness around the brow settles within an hour. Avoid heat, heavy sweating and exfoliating around the brow for 24 hours, and skip retinoids near the brow for a couple of days before and after waxing.
Tint lasts three to four weeks. Most patients rebook every three to four weeks alongside their other treatments.

How long does brow tint last?
Three to four weeks on the hair, fading gradually rather than disappearing.
Can I wax if I use retinol?
Stop retinoids around the brow area for several days before waxing. Retinoids thin the surface of the skin and increase the risk of lifting during waxing.
Will the tint look too dark?
The shade is selected to suit your hair and coloring. It looks strongest on the first day and settles within about 48 hours.
