How Belotero Works
Belotero uses a cohesive polydensified matrix, a manufacturing approach that produces a gel of varying density. Placed in the skin, it blends into the surrounding tissue rather than forming a defined pocket.
That integration is what allows it to be placed superficially, close to the surface, without the bluish shadow or visible ridging that thicker fillers can produce in thin skin.

What to Expect
Treatment takes 20 to 40 minutes. Topical numbing is applied first, and injections are placed superficially with a very fine needle.
Results are visible immediately, with mild swelling in the first days.
Aftercare
Expect mild swelling and possible pinpoint bruising for a few days. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and heat for 24 hours.
Final result settles at about two weeks. Duration is typically six to twelve months.
