ThermiSmooth

ThermiSmooth uses a handpiece applied to the surface of the skin to deliver gentle, controlled heat that stimulates collagen. It is completely non-invasive with no downtime, and works through a series of sessions rather than a single treatment.

How ThermiSmooth Works

A small handpiece is moved across the skin in a circular motion, gradually raising the tissue to a target temperature and holding it there. That sustained gentle heat is enough to trigger collagen production without any injury to the skin.

Because the heating is gradual and the temperature is monitored throughout, it can be used safely on delicate areas where a stronger treatment would not be appropriate.

Who ThermiSmooth Is For

ThermiSmooth suits patients who want gradual improvement with no recovery:

  • Fine lines and crepiness around the eyes
  • Early laxity on the face and neck
  • Decolletage texture
  • Patients who cannot take any downtime

It is gentler than ThermiTight or Thermage FLX. If your laxity is more advanced, one of those is the better use of your time.

What to Expect

No numbing is needed. Gel is applied and the handpiece is worked over the area for 20 to 30 minutes. Most patients describe it as a warm, comfortable massage.

You can go straight back to your day, makeup included.

Aftercare

Mild warmth and pinkness for a short time afterward, and nothing else. There are no restrictions.

A series of three to six sessions spaced a week or two apart is typical, with results building over the following months as collagen forms.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions will I need?

Usually three to six, spaced one to two weeks apart.

Can it be used around the eyes?

Yes, and it is one of its most common uses. The gentle, controlled heating makes it safe in that delicate area.

How does it compare to Thermage FLX?

Thermage is a stronger single treatment. ThermiSmooth is gentler and works through a series. Your provider will match the approach to your degree of laxity.
