Fraxel re:store (Erbium
/ SR1500)
Removes lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and acne scars and
tightens the skin.
Fraxel: The word
comes from the words fractionated and pixel because
only a fraction of the skin is treated like the
pixels of a digital photograph. This produces
the dramatic results of complete skin resurfacing
with much less downtime and quicker results with
increased safely.

Advanced Technology
The Fraxel re:store laser is
designed to provide the most
efficient delivery system for the
best possible skin resurfacing
results. Features:
-
Ergonomic
roller tip for a gliding hand motion
-
Up to 1,000
Microscopic Treatment Zones (MTZs) per square centimeter in
a single pass
-
Intelligent
Optical Tracking® System, which adjusts to hand speed and
ensures uniform treatment
-
Selectable
energy, treatment levels and number of passes, so treatment
can be tailored to patient needs
-
Optimized
spot size based on chosen parameters
Safe on all skin types, on and off
the face
The Fraxel re:store laser is
safe and effective on Fitzpatrick
skin types
I-VI and on all body parts. The
laser fires only when the scanner
detects relative motion between
handpiece and the skin and when the
footswitch is engaged. And to
prevent over-treatment, the number
of MTZs is matched to the speed of
application. Thanks to this safety
and ease of use, physicians can
delegate the treatment to staff and
improve practice profitability.
Nonablative efficacy
The noninvasive Fraxel re:store
laser delivers remarkable results
with minimal downtime. That’s why
Fraxel re:store laser treatment is
the procedure that patients ask for
by name.
Your Fraxel procedures can be performed
personally by
Karl
Swanson M.D. who has personally performed
more Fraxel skin treatments than any
other Doctor in Florida and is
also one of the top five doctors in
the country for number of Fraxel
treatments performed.
Most
patients require 3 to 5 Fraxel
treatments spaced two to four weeks
apart to achieve maximum results.
After treatment patients experience
a mild sunburn sensation for about
an hour and then virtually no
discomfort. The skin will have a
pinkish tone for five to seven days.
Swelling is minimal and generally
resolves in two to three days. You
may apply make-up or shave soon
after treatment. Typically patients
go back to work soon after treatment
or the next day. After Fraxel
treatments, as with a sunburn,
patients will naturally want to
decrease direct sun exposure and use
sunscreen.
