tightens the skin.
Ultimate Image is the first
and only office in Tampa Bay to
offer Fraxel re:pair (CO2)
Reliant Corporation produces two
types of Fraxel lasers. The original
Fraxel used an Erbium laser and is
now called Fraxel re:store. The
Fraxel re:store laser is still
useful for younger patients with
milder signs of aging. This laser
usual requires three to five
treatments to reach a patient's
optimal benefit.
The
new Fraxel laser uses a CO2 laser
and is called Fraxel re:pair. This
laser was just released in January
of 2008. Compared to Erbium lasers,
CO2 lasers are more powerful. The
Fraxel re:pair laser is more useful
for older patients with moderate to
severe signs of aging. The Fraxel
re:pair laser usually only requires
one to two treatments to reach a
patient's optimal benefit.
Occasionally a younger patient will
prefer the Fraxel re:pair laser
(CO2) because it can achieve the
same results in a single treatment
whereas the Fraxel re:store (Erbium)
procedure would require multiple
treatments.
Common
to both the Fraxel re:store and
Fraxel re:pair lasers is their
method of delivery. They both
deliver the laser's energy in a
fractionated manner like pixels in a
digital photo. By using this
technique dramatic results are
obtained safely with minimal
downtime. The Reliant Fraxel lasers
are the only lasers that use a
continuous scanning technique to
deliver a fractionated pattern
uniformly. Other manufactures claim
that their new lasers are fractioned
lasers but none of them employ a
continuous scanning technique. And
only one other company at this time
uses CO2. Lastly, the Reliant Fraxel
lasers are superior because each
laser pixel is smaller in diameter
and goes deeper then any other laser
system. Each pixel is called a micro
thermal zone. The smaller and deeper
the micro thermal zone, the better
the treatment. All other
fractionated devices have micro
thermal zones that have not achieved
the small diameter and depth of the
Reliant Fraxel re:store and Fraxel
re:pair lasers.
The
Fraxel re:pair laser is used for:
- Lines and wrinkles
- Tightening of skin
- Removal of brown spots
- Removal of melasma
- Removal of redness
- Acne scars
- Other scars
- Stretch marks
Advanced
technology
The Fraxel re:pair laser system will offer a fractional ablative
treatment utilizing a CO2 laser to produce similar effectiveness
to traditional bulk ablative treatments, with less expected
downtime and risks. The Fraxel re:pair laser system is
distinguished by its ability to ablate tissue deep within the
dermis. The treament is made-up of deep microscopic ablated
zones surrounded by undamaged tissue, rather than a thin,
general ablation of the entire surface like traditional CO2
lasers.
An effective
resurfacing solution
The Fraxel re:pair laser system provides results that patients
and physicians want – without the risks and recovery time that
come with traditional CO2 lasers and surgical procedures.
Your Fraxel procedures can be performed
personally by
Karl

more Fraxel skin treatments than any
other Doctor in Florida and is
also one of the top five doctors in
the country for number of Fraxel
treatments performed.
